Beskrivelse

R. sajanense (Rhodorastra) (up to -45 °C). Kraftig voksende busk, op til 5 m. Tæt beslægtet med R. sichotense. Har kirtler på bladpladen og brun og rødlig bark. Vokser i Sibirien. Endemisk i Vest Sayan.

Kinship. It differs from the related species R. sichotense and R. ledebourii in its young bare shoots, large size, and brown-pink bark; differs from R. ledebourii in shape, size, mesophilic nature, varying degrees of coverage with glands of the upper and lower sides of the leaves, the shape of the cells of the lower epidermis of the leaf, slightly incised corolla.
