Beskrivelse

R. campylocarpum ssp. caloxanthum (Campylocarpa) (-18 °C). Nært beslægtet med R. campylocarpum og ‘R. telopeum‘, adskiller denne art sig ved sine relativt store, og nærmest kredsrunde blade, samt ved en lavere og bredere vækstform. Blomstring i apr.-maj, orange i knop, åbner til lysegul, ofte med en lille rød ganetegning. Blomsten er knapt så åben, og klasen noget løsere end hos de nære slægtninge. Ny-væksten antager under udviklingen et smukt blådugget skær højt estimeret blandt kendere, men ikke helt så robust som man kunne ønske, så en beskyttet vokseplads må stærkt anbefales. Øvre Burma, Tibet og Yunnan 3000-4300 m. Denne art har ikke røde kirtler på griflen og stor butfliget calyx, som er kendetegnet på en R. wardii.
