R. nudipes ssp. yakumontanum (Brachycalyx). Er en form af R. nudipes der vokser på Yakushima Island. Lavere vækst og med flot efteråsfarvet løv. Calyx glat undtagen randen, Griflen helt glat uden kirtler.

R. nudipes var. kirishimense. Har smallere blade 1,5-4,5 x 1,2-3 cm og nyskuddene er lådne. Bladspidsen er afrundet.
R. nudipes ssp. yakumontanum. Gror på Yakushima Island. Lavere vækst med flotte efterårsfarver.
